Our Advent Experience is held on the second Monday of December (December 14th, 2009) at Cameron Church in Denver at the corner of Iowa Ave and Pearl St. After sharing goodies that we bring, starting at 7:00 p.m., we gather at 7:45 p.m. for the singing of carols and the reading of scripture, then participate in a creative activity that helps us get in touch with the meaning of the season and our relationship to it.

On or near the shortest day of the year, we'll get together to experience food and light and wisdom in observance of the Winter Solstice. After sharing a potluck supper, we'll share poetry and other readings that we will bring - in a Winter Solstice Ritual. This event encourages each of us to pause and ponder where we've been and where we might be going as we approach the end of the calendar year - all in the Christmas Season.
The Guild meets monthly on every 2nd Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Cameron Church, located at the southeast corner of E. Iowa Ave. and S. Pearl St., Denver. Everyone is welcome!
